Scentsy Diffusers use water and fragrance oils to create a fine scented mist, giving you another way to fragrance your space without wax. I’ll help you work out whether a diffuser suits the room, the look you want and the kind of fragrance experience you prefer.
Scentsy diffusers are more than just pretty
Scentsy Premium Diffusers are water-based fragrance systems designed to be used with Scentsy Oils, creating a fine fragrant mist without wax.
The diffuser base does the hard work. It can fragrance your space for up to 8 hours of continuous use, offers 16 colourful LED lighting effects and lets you adjust fragrance strength with high, low and intermediate mist settings.
You can also control the light and colour intensity with high, low and flicker settings.
One of the things I really like is that the diffuser shades are sold separately and can be swapped over the same base, so you can change the look without replacing the whole diffuser.
The two-part diffuser base includes the funnel and reservoir and measures 25 cm tall by 13 cm wide.
And yes, it comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
They’re not the cheapest way to fragrance a room and I’m not going to pretend they are. But if you want fragrance, mist, lighting and something that also looks beautiful sitting in your home, that’s where I think they really come into their own.

The shades are sold separately and sit over the diffuser base, so you can swap the shade when you want a completely different look without buying another base.
What about Scentsy Oils?
Scentsy Oils are made for use in our Premium Diffusers and are the part that actually gives you the fragrance.
A little goes a long way, and you can adjust how much oil you add depending on how strong you like your fragrance. I like that because not everyone wants the same level of scent in a room.
The oils also give you a completely different fragrance experience to wax. They’re used with water in the diffuser, so instead of warming wax, you get a fine scented mist along with the lighting effects from the diffuser base.
I’d still choose the fragrance the same way I choose wax for someone. Start with what you already know you like, fresh, fruity, floral, citrus, woody, sweet or something else, then narrow it down from there.
And if you already have a warmer setup you love, I’m not going to tell you that you suddenly need a diffuser too. It’s just another option if you prefer the mist, lighting and oil-fragrance style.
