When I’d suggest a Scentsy candle instead of a warmer

I’m going to be completely upfront. I’m a warmer person, not a candle person. Unless the power is out, you probably won’t find me lighting one.

But plenty of people genuinely love candles, and that’s exactly where Scentsy Candles can be a good fit.

I’d suggest a candle for someone who loves the glow and feel of a traditional candle, prefers a flame rather than a warmer, or when you’re buying for a candle lover.

Fragrance still matters though. Tell me the kinds of scents you normally enjoy and I can help you narrow down the current candle range.

And if I think a warmer, Fragrance Flower or something else would suit you better, I’ll tell you that too.

What makes Scentsy Candles different?

Scentsy Candles combine fragrance with the traditional glow of a candle. They’re hand-poured in Idaho using a premium soy-wax blend and come in a frosted glass container.

Each 354.4 g candle is designed to provide approximately 42 to 48 hours of fragrant burn time when burned as directed.

If you already have a favourite Scentsy fragrance, it’s worth checking whether it’s available as a candle too. The candle fragrance range can change, so I keep the current options linked below rather than listing scents that may no longer be available.

Are Scentsy Candles the same as Scentsy Wax Melts?

No. Scentsy Candles are traditional fragranced candles with a wick and flame, while Scentsy Wax Bars are flameless wax melts designed to be warmed in a Scentsy warmer.

Both use Scentsy fragrance, but they’re completely different ways to enjoy it.

If you love the glow and feel of a traditional candle, choose a candle. If you’d rather enjoy fragrance without a flame, Scentsy Wax Bars and warmers may suit you better.
